About Me
Hello! I’m Rebecca
Welcome to Of Her Days! I’m a Christ follower, wife, mother, homemaker, and a little of everything in between. Proverbs 31:10-31 describes the kind of woman I aspire to be. May encouragement, inspiration, and kindred spirits be found here as I share my days.

Christians are often called out for being judgmental and hypocritical, and I agree that some of us can be. But, that isn't because those things are Christian issues. They're human#judgment#hypocrite##Christiansc#humansn#christianpostsstianposts

Why do we grow spiritually complacent? Whether it is intention or unintentional, it happens when we take God and His Word for granted. It happens when we don't see our need for Him. It happens when we are hearers of the Word but not doers. It happens when we "hear" what His Word says but don't actually listen to what it says. It happens when we know OF Him but don't KNOW Him. It happens when we aren't in the Word daily.Often we get distracted by life, and we don't find the time to get into the Word. We definitely have the time, but we choose not to make the time. But by doing this, we are literally starving ourselves spiritually. The Bible is our spiritual food. We need it daily just as we need to eat actual food daily. I would be seriously ill if I only ate once a week, but some of us are only spiritually fed at church on Sundays. And we wonder why we are struggling!Just as you make the time to eat the meals that will nourish your body, make the time to study God's Word in order to nourish your spirit.#spirituallife #spiritualjourney #dailybread #dailydevotions #christianposts
